3. Digital fingerprint of your originals

Generate the cryptographic fingerprint (SHA-256) of your official photos, songs and videos, plus a visual fingerprint of each image. If someone alters or clones them, the fingerprint changes.

🔒 Where does your data go?

• Your photos, audio and videos never leave your device. The face-match AI and the fingerprints run in your browser. There is no form or server that receives them.
• The AI is ours, not a third party's: the models download from befunoficial.com the first time and stay in your browser cache.
• We save nothing by default. Close the tab and it is gone. If you turn on “My vault”, your results stay only in this browser and you can delete them anytime.
• What does leave: when you tap a scanner or report button, you open that platform (Google, YouTube, TikTok…) with your search. The page loads Google Fonts and, if your browser uses another language, may use Google Translate.
• Check it yourself: open developer tools (F12) → Network tab and use the face match: you will see no photo is sent.
• If you choose cloud backup or sign up, that text data is stored in Be Fun's database (Google Sheets, team-only access), with your authorization under Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012. Your vault is identified only by your code, which we do not store in plain text. Delete it with “Delete my cloud copy”; to delete your sign-up, message us in the chat.
